Living in Malta for a Month

I have lived in Malta for 2 years.
My dream is living abroad when I was a child.
I am very happy living in Malta now.
I like especially blue sky in Malta.

 

I love kind Maltese. Wherever I go in Malta, I meet a friendly Maltese. Some people say this place is paradise.
I think so, too.

 

So, I recommend "Living a month in Malta"
You'd be happier!!!
However, even some people think their country is the best, they meet a some problem in other country as well.
I think so, too. But If you think different way, everything will be OK!

 

1. Time to living in MaltaI recommend spring(3)~autumn(11)Every day is Ok!.
You can not see rain.
You can see blue, clean sky.
You can swim every bay happily.

 

2. Rent in MaltaI recommend a flat.
Recently hotel's cost is increased rapidly. Air B&B is too.
You can visit Estate agency or facebook.
I contracted facebook for the first time. (accomdation malta, share in malta)
After I contracted estate agency.
You can use academy facility. A lot of academy have a facility, too. But this one is more expensive than other flat.
I think budget is 600 ~ 800 euro a month. Almost landroad ask for water and electricity fee exclude.

 

 

3. Transportation in Malta

I recommend a rent car.
But, special company is not good. Maybe the cheapest company give you more stress. eg) g*** company
My friend give a lot of extra money to that company.
In my case, I usually book booking.com. This one is very cheaper and contract full cover insurance easily. You can find easily to receive a car at airport.

 

 

The bus fee is very cheap.
  <1.5 euro ordinary / 2 euro, summer>
But in the summer, You can wait a lot of extra time under strong sunshine.
Not in summer, Bus is okay.
But, you are more stronger when you leave Malta. because, Water is so heavy. 

 

 

4. Foods in MaltaYou can buy several Lidl, Smart, Pavi, Miracle or convenience shop near your home.
I think food cost is so cheap. but Local people has a different idea against me

 

 

When you can visit a restaurant, you prepare to pay 1 person about 10 euro.

But, you can buy more cheaper food near your home. It is Pastizzi, pizza...
Those is 1~1.5 euro.

 

Also, I recommend Maltese tradional food that is Rabbit. You can taste a restaurant.This one is Rabbit stew.

Lastly, you can taste several Maltese bread and snack near your home.
If you live this island, you will extend to live in Malta any more.

If you live with your friend(fiance), you will get a flat and buy a car.

(Last year, I bought a car 5,000 euro which was Toyota Passo.

 That was nine years old. I think this island is more expensive than other country. So you can buy 3,000 ~ 5,000 euro at Ventur car dealer or Dino car dealer.
